British folk rockers have unveiled a series of the ‘Gentleman of the Road’ tour that kicks off this summer.
According to the band, ” The Gentleman of the Road stopover is based loosely upon our favourite festivals like Colorado’s Telluride Bluegrass and Scotland’s Loopallu Festivals.”.
So far, there’s been 2 confirmed stop over shows in Huddersfield(2 June) and Galway(9 June).
The Huddersfield gig will be supported by Willy Mason,Michael Kiwanuka,Nathaniel Rateliff and The Correspondents.
While the support for Galway will be, The Vaccines ,Willy Mason,Zulu Winter,Nathaniel Rateliff and The Correspondents.
The band will also play before and during the stopovers, with their support acts at other locations.
The towns selected for the tour were specifically chosen by the band as they “wanted to stop off in towns not usually heavily toured by bands and celebrate the people,food,and music that inhabit them”.
The festival will be curated and headlined by Mumford and Sons, with heavy involvement from local communities as the band wants to promote local businesses.

4th June – The Apex, Bury St Edmonds
5th June – Marina Theatre,Lowestoft

9th June – Gentleman of the Road Stopover,Galway
Presale tickets will be released through musicglue.com and local outlets from 9am on the 20th of April. General sale is from the 21st of April.
Ticket prices are £49.50 (Huddersfield), €45.00 (Galway), and £23.50 for all other dates.
